W&H Oral Surgery and Implantology Handpieces – Durable, ergonomic and robust! W&H offers sixteen different precision Oral Surgery and Implantology handpieces in several different styles, angles and speeds to assist in all common Oral Surgery and Implantology procedures. Fifteen of these handpieces are fully dismantleable (without the need of additional tools) to allow the user to accurately clean each handpiece after use, prior to lubrication and each sterilization cycle. By allowing the customer to fully clean their handpieces, this should give them more chair time with a smooth, accurate and efficient handpiece and also less repair bills. Six of our handpieces are available with our patented self-generating Mini LED+ system for optimum daylight quality light - close to the source of each procedure. As our LED light is self-generating inside the handpiece, this means your customer can use our LED handpieces with any W&H surgical motor system – or even non-W&H motor systems if needed. W&H Surgical handpieces allow “fatigue-free” working, thanks to the optimal ergonomics and they last longer due to our durable high-quality stainless steel and scratch resistant materials. All handpieces are also fully thermo-washer disinfectable and sterilizable for approved use in the operatory. The WS-91 and WS-91 LG (with self-generating Mini LED+) are the world’s first and only 45° handpieces specifically designed for an oral surgery motor system. Their 1:2.7 speed increasing gears allow higher speed (up to 135,000 rpm with an Elcomed), high torque for sectioning wisdom teeth or cutting other hard materials and they are fully dismantleable for cleaning. There is optimum visibility of the treatment site with the 45° head angle and the triple spray of sterile water or saline efficiently cools the area in a hygienic manner (compared to others using non-sterile water). There are three different 20:1 Implantology handpieces available – WI-75 E/KM, WS-75 and the WS-75 LG (with self-generating Mini LED+). The WI-75 E/KM is our only handpiece that is non-dismantleable and is our “old generation” style. As above, the other 20:1 handpieces are fully dismantleable and come with or without our patented self-generating Mini LED+ light system. They would also allow both left and right side external irrigation with green spray clips (compared to left side only with the WI-75 E/KM black spray clips) or two green clips with both external and internal bur irrigation as an option. All 20:1’s would also have our patented “Hexagon Chucking System” for use with “Hex” burs to ensure safe use in high torque procedures. Additional surgical handpieces are also available in straight (1:1), angled (1:1, 1:2) and contra-angle (1:1, 1:2.7) for various surgical procedures as needed. They are all fully dismantleable for proper cleaning post-surgery and most are available with our self-generating Mini LED+ system. The new “L” Series handpieces are designed specifically for the Implantmed SI-1015 with the EM-19 LC (Light Contact) motor. By having Light Contacts in the motor and handpieces, there is constant light at any bur speed for optimal illumination. The new handpieces include the WS-75 L, WS-91 L, WS-92 L, WS-56 L and S-11 L. They are all fully dismantleable and ready for the majority of oral surgery and implantology procedures.
